Key responsibilities include: Providing specialist orthopaedic assessment, treatment and management Conducting consultant-led outpatient clinics Managing elective and emergency orthopaedic presentations Providing specialist consultation services to the Emergency Department and inpatient teams Supporting community-based orthopaedic services Participating in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and research activities Contributing to the education and supervision of junior medical staff and medical students The service provides comprehensive orthopaedic care for both adults and paediatric patients, including: Upper and lower limb conditions Hip and knee disorders Major joint pathology Fracture management and trauma care Sports and acute injuries Back and musculoskeletal conditions Pre-operative and post-operative orthopaedic care The Hospital This leading regional health service supports one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest-growing populations.
