We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused Project Support Officer to join our team
What You Will Do:
As a Project Support Officer, you will assist in the successful delivery of capital works projects by providing administrative and project support to designers, project managers, and engineers. You will also help ensure the branch operates efficiently and in compliance with Council's procurement, contract management, and project reporting policies.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience in computer-based systems particularly in relation to purchasing functions and project management systems.
* Intermediate knowledge and experience with MS WORD and the ability to format large complex documents.
* Experience in infrastructure project administration, procurement and contract administration in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
* Good communication, negotiation, planning and time management skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and contractual practices, processes standards and legislation and recognition of how they relate to working within a Government environment.
