About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Blast & Paint Supervisor to lead our team in WA supporting defence, marine and infrastructure coating projects, with flexibility to work shift patterns as required.

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes safely, on time, and in full compliance with contract, client, regulatory, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, mentor and manage a team of field-based blasters, painters and trade assistants
* Drive Favcote's safety culture across all work activities
* Plan and coordinate daily work fronts, resources, equipment and materials
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification
* Oversee task planning, risk assessments, permits and quality control requirements
* Monitor surface preparation, coating application, environmental conditions and hold points
* Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet compliance and quality expectations
* Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, QA records and progress updates
* Support continuous improvement, productivity and professional development within the team

What You'll Bring

* 2–3+ years' experience supervising blasting and painting works
* Experience working safely in confined spaces, including tanks, vessels or similar environments
* Ability to access and work within submarine or defence vessel environments where required
* Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
* Technical knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, hazardous substances and QA/QC requirements
* Defence, marine, industrial or infrastructure remediation experience highly regarded
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence managing site documentation
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and doing the job right the first time
