Lead Geologist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Geology Manager with significant experience to lead our geology and mining functions in APAC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing operational and growth strategies for the region, working closely with technical discipline managers within the Mining Advisory division.
About You
You will have a post-secondary degree in geology or mining engineering, and at least 15 years' experience preferably with a background in both operations and consulting. Deep experience with international and public disclosure and reporting codes is essential.
You must be able to act as a qualified and competent person for public disclosure of mineral and ore resource or reserve estimation in various commodities under country reporting codes.

The definition and execution of operational and growth strategies for the region, working closely with the Technical Discipline Manager and other Technical Managers within Mining Advisory;
Leadership of the geology and mining functions of the Mining Advisory division in APAC;
Day-to-day operational direction through team leads;

Your Skills
Circa 15 years' experience in geology and mining with a background in both operations and consulting;
Post-secondary degree in geology or mining engineering;
Deep experience with international and public disclosure and reporting codes, including JORC, NI *****, SK ****, SAMREC, Competent Persons Reports, and Mineral Expert Reports etc.;
Competent to act as Qualified and Competent Person for public disclosure of Mineral and Ore Resource or Reserve estimation in a range of commodities under country reporting codes (Australia, Canada, USA and Europe most common).
