Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct’s existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services.
A position is available for a Sterilising Technician/Theatre Assistant. We are accepting applications for a person who prides themselves in providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude. Ideally this position will be part time with a minimum of 16 hours per week (with the opportunity for more hours if available) and work across both CSD/Endoscopy cleaning and Theatre. Essential criteria for the combined role is detailed below.
Responsibilities
• Join Sterilising Technician and Theatre Assistant duties, working across Central Sterilising Department (CSD) and Endoscopy cleaning as well as theatre support.
Qualifications
- Certificate 3 in Sterilising Services (must have)
- Previous experience in Central Sterilising Department with experience in endoscopy cleaning
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Proven ability to show initiative
- Solutions focused and desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent patient and customer service focus
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts (AM/PM shifts) Monday-Friday

Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 3 months of commencement date and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
