We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Front Desk Officer to join our busy team at Emerald Hospital. As the welcoming face of our practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients attending X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
About the Role:
Our ideal candidate will have experience in medical or allied health reception and be confident with booking systems and strong computer skills. You will also have a warm and professional communication style, with excellent presentation and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
• Managing bookings, payments, and Medicare and Health Fund claims
• Liaising with referrers, doctors, and patients
• Participating in team meetings and training
• Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and HR policies
About You:
• Experience in medical, dental, or allied health reception
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Team player with a patient-first mindset
