So, the Job
As a Social Media Specialist at Dilate, you'll play a pivotal role in growing your clients' social presence—whether that's increasing reach, building brand awareness, or driving engagement and conversions. You'll work closely with clients and our internal team to develop and execute platform‐specific strategies, create engaging content, and optimise performance across social channels.
* Build and execute social media strategies aligned with client goals and broader marketing initiatives.
* Identify the most effective platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) for different campaign objectives.
* Create high‐quality, platform‐specific content including static assets, copywriting, and video.
* Plan and manage content calendars to ensure consistent, timely posting.
* Collaborate with internal teams (design, copy, paid media, strategy) to deliver cohesive campaigns.
* Monitor performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.
* Conduct A/B testing across content formats, messaging, and posting schedules to improve results.
* Analyse performance data and generate insights to continuously optimise strategies.
* Stay up to date with platform changes, trends, and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
About You
* Has proven experience in social media management, ideally within an agency environment.
* Understands major social platforms and how to leverage them effectively for different goals.
* Brings strong content creation skills across design, copywriting, and video.
* Is confident using social scheduling and management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, Later).
* Has an analytical mindset and can translate data into actionable insights.
* Is highly organised and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
* Communicates clearly and understands tone, voice, and brand consistency.
* Thinks strategically and connects social activity to real business outcomes.
* Has Australian residency and full working rights with no conditions.
* Possesses an Australian driver's licence and access to a car for onsite work.
