Lead Quality Initiatives

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing quality and compliance operations at a regional medical service. Key responsibilities include coordinating audits, quality systems, document control, and improvement registers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the organization for accreditation across various standards, including RACGP, NSQHS, Aged Care, NDIS, and ISO9001.

They will also manage and report on the organizational Risk Register and compliance obligations, as well as engage with consumers to analyze feedback and guide service improvements.

Additionally, they will develop organization-wide dashboards using integrated performance data and educate and mentor staff on compliance, audit readiness, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate internal audits, quality systems, document control, and improvement registers
* Prepare for accreditation across RACGP, NSQHS, Aged Care, NDIS, ISO9001, and similar standards
* Manage and report on the organisational Risk Register and compliance obligations
* Engage with consumers and analyse feedback to guide service improvements
* Develop organisation-wide dashboards using integrated performance data
* Educate and mentor staff on compliance, audit readiness, and governance frameworks
* Advise the CEO and Executive on quality risks, trends, and performance insights

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality, governance, accreditation, or compliance, preferably in health, aged care, disability, or community services.

They will also require experience with at least one accreditation framework (e.g., NSQHS, RACGP, NDIS, Aged Care Standards, ISO9001).

Familiarity with quality assurance systems and continuous improvement methods is essential.

The ability to interpret data, incidents, and feedback to drive change is also crucial.

A collaborative, systems-thinking approach to embedding governance practices is necessary.

Confidence in supporting executive decision-making through quality reporting is also required.
