Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Trades Assistant to support tradespeople on a mine site. The role involves working in remote locations on rostered shifts and following strict safety procedures.
Responsibilities
* Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs
* Prepare tools and materials
* Complete washdowns of machinery and work areas
* Perform general labour tasks
* Ensure equipment and site areas are kept clean, safe, and operational
Qualifications
* Previous experience in mining, maintenance, or labouring preferred
* Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks in harsh conditions
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and site procedures
* Experience with equipment washdowns or high-pressure cleaning desirable
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Reliable with good communication skills
* Must pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
* Valid driver's licence; relevant tickets (e.g. forklift, white card) advantageous
* Must be able to pass a Full Labdas and Medial
This role offers hands‐on experience within the mining and resources sector.
