Payroll Officer
K-Drill Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Payroll Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance requirements, and assisting with general payroll and administration tasks.

About the role
* Monday to Friday at West Perth Head Office.
* End to end payroll processing in accordance with legislative requirements and internal policies.
* Ensuring salary disbursements are accurate and delivered within required timeframes.
* Managing overpayments, recoveries leave administration and payroll reporting.
* Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation.
* Supporting audits, reconciliations, and payroll related queries.
* Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve payroll processed and procedures.
About you
The successful applicant will be organised, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
You will ideally have:
* A minimum of three years payroll experience within the mining or a similar industry.
* Excellent numeracy skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience using payroll systems - Humanz experience will be desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
* Confidence in interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation.
* Experience in the mining, drilling, civil, construction, transport, or resources sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
