About the role

Join WGA in Melbourne as a People & Culture Coordinator and play a key role in delivering a positive, seamless, and high-quality employee experience across the full People & Culture lifecycle.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who brings broad, hands‐on generalist capability and enjoys being at the heart of day‐to‐day P&C operations. You'll have the chance to take ownership and contribute to how we continuously improve the employee experience, while working as part of a collaborative national team.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems (we use Employment Hero and Culture Amp) ensuring data integrity and reporting capability
* Draft employment contracts, letters and P&C documentation
* Take ownership of onboarding, offboarding and employment changes to ensure a seamless employee experience
* Provide day-to-day advice and support to employees and leaders on policies and processes
* Coordinate key lifecycle activities including inductions, employee milestones and recognition initiatives
* Partner with the P&C team to support efficient operations and continuous improvement initiatives
* Prepare reports and dashboards to summarise people metrics and drive business success by deriving insights from data and converting insights into meaningful actions

About You

* 2+ years' experience in a HR / People & Culture role
* Exposure to core lifecycle activities (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, inductions, policy interpretation, general P&C administration)
* Proactive, solutions‐focused and eager to learn
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a national team with experience taking ownership of issues to resolution
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a business
* Excellent computer skills and intermediate capability with the Microsoft Office suite of programs
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Experience in professional services/consulting/engineering or construction industries ideal
