Administrative Support Role

This position involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.


Responsibilities:

* Provide a positive first impression for visitors by greeting and directing them to relevant personnel or facilities.
* Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and information in both physical and digital formats.
* Manage diaries, schedule meetings, book rooms and arrange travel and accommodation as required.
* Communicate effectively with staff across various departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
* Prepare meeting minutes, letters and reports as necessary.
* Perform data entry tasks and maintain office systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Coordinate post and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.


Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High-level customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Prior experience in local or state government is highly desirable but not essential.
