Are you ready to build a serious career in agricultural sales — not just fill a territory?
Burando Hill is a well‐established, family‐founded agricultural machinery business with branches in Katanning, Geraldton and Wangaratta. We've been supplying and supporting broad‐acre farming operations since 1978, and we're known for deep product knowledge, honest advice and long‐term customer relationships.
We're offering a structured sales development role for a capable person who wants to grow — not just earn a commission.
About the Role
Based at our Katanning branch and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will spend 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week in the field on a planned, approved route visiting farming customers. You will also support our Geraldton and Wangaratta branches through scheduled travel, field days and dealer activities.
What You'll Be Doing
* Selling the full range of Burando Hill products — whole goods, parts and ancillary equipment — to broad‐acre farming customers.
* Building genuine, long‐term relationships with farmers, dealers and agents in the field.
* Managing leads, quotes and customer activity in our NetSuite CRM.
* Participating in field days, agricultural shows and product events across WA and the Eastern States.
* Feeding market intelligence back to the Sales Manager to help shape our direction.
What We Offer
* Structured training across all major product lines — seeding, tillage, harvesting, grain handling and ancillary equipment.
* Mentoring and regular performance feedback from an experienced Sales Manager.
* Exposure to three branches and the full breadth of Burando Hill's business.
* A genuine career progression pathway into senior sales, territory management or branch support.
* Remuneration package negotiable based on experience.
Who We're Looking For
* You're likely already working in agricultural sales, machinery, parts, agronomy or farm services and are looking for a role that offers real development — not just a territory and a target.
* Experience in agricultural sales, machinery, parts or a related rural industry role.
* Sound knowledge of broad‐acre farming operations and equipment.
* Strong communication skills — you build trust with farmers, dealers and business owners quickly.
* Self‐motivated and organised, comfortable managing your own field schedule.
* Eager to grow, take on responsibility and build a long‐term career with a business that invests in people.
