About the role: Be part of something exciting from the ground up. Based on site, the Assistant Community Manager will play a key role in bringing this exceptional residential offering to life. Balancing across leadership responsibilities, and operational oversight, this role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless service delivery for our residents.

Supporting the Community Manager, this role helps lead daily operations and resident services while fostering an engaging, high-quality experience for all who call Haiku home.

Key responsibilities

- Support the Community Manager across all operational areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Lead and mentor the Resident Services team to deliver exceptional service and uphold community standards.
- Assist with leasing and marketing activities to drive occupancy and retention.
- Oversee financial administration, including rent collection and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and housing regulations while promoting a strong community culture.

About you

You’re a people person through and through; someone who thrives in vibrant, community-driven environments. With around 3–5 years’ experience in residential or guest-focused real estate such as rental property management, student accommodation, hotels, or aged care, you understand what great service looks like and how to deliver it. You’re organised, confident under pressure, and always looking for ways to create a positive experience for residents and your team alike.

Qualifications

- Hold a valid driver’s licence and the ability to obtain required background checks (National Criminal History and Working with Children).
- Real estate licence would be preferred, but not required.
