We have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team, reporting into the FSQ Manager, based at our facility in Rooty Hill. This role is a leadership role which influences other FSQ team members and other departments to improve food safety and quality. This includes being responsible for ensuring compliance with key policies that support the Food Safety and Regulatory requirements. If you are ambitious and have good communication skills as well as a strong technical knowledge in Food Safety and Regulatory, FSQ knowledge in HACCP and its prerequisite programs, then we are looking for you to join us
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead Project Teams to deal with; Product complaints reduction, Quality Investigations and problem solving – Process and Consumer Feedback, CI projects, HACCP Reviews, New Product launches
* Document/update systems to capture project learnings/outcomes
* Support FSQ team at Rooty Hill to achieve its Trifecta target
* Proactive lead FSQ strategies
* Provide Technical Expertise
* Enhance organizational relationships with Operations, Research and Development, CCR and Marketing that will increase the overall effectiveness of FSQ
* Support the FSQ / Operations team with expert/technical expertise when required
* Lead problem resolution initiatives in the areas of materials – food and non-food, process and finished products
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* Advanced knowledge of Process Capability Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Process Improvement
* Training development and delivery
* Previous FMCG experience
* Good time management and work priortising skills
* A proactive work ethic and a 'can do' attitude
* Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work within a team and independently
* Great attention to detail and working to deadlines in a busy work environment.
