The Role: We have an opportunity at our Narangba site for an Apprentice Auto Electrician to join our Specialised Vehicles Division. This is a unique opportunity to work on industry leading projects, in which you will: • Follow manufacturing drawings to complete electrical fit-outs • Assist in a team to test and verify all electrical operations of vehicles • Assist in implementing and verifying appropriate improvements to electrical systems • Fault find electrical problems on vehicles with and without electrical diagrams • Fit electrical components to vehicles To be considered for this role you will: • Be at least 16 years old • Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship • Able to travel regularly to TAFE • Current Drivers Licence or reliable means of transport • Have a mechanical aptitude • Be self-motivated to successfully complete both work and study commitments • Demonstrate a high quality of work and attention to detail • Be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting • Successfully complete a pre-placement medical including D&A testing Why Us: With 1,200 employees, our company reputation is built on providing first-class work, manufacturing quality products, and providing unsurpassed service.
