**What we're looking for**:
We are looking for an engaging IT Support Officer with an upbeat attitude to join the fun and progressive IT team at Synergy Business Systems.

**The role**:You will support the IT Solutions Manager in providing IT services to Synergy Construction & Industrial Supply Group and its associated entities.
- Provide timely and professional customer support for the IT team's data services.
- Working with the Pronto Level 1 Support Desk Officer/s, ensuring tasks are done and closed out promptly.
- The first point of contact for IT enquires not captured by the Pronto Support Help Desk.
- Work with the eCommerce Officer in validating content and assisting with platform maintenance.
- Manage requests for new equipment IAW MMEM processes
- Assist with any new equipment requests IAW MMEM policy
- Maintain an optimal level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in a respectful manner
- Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of Synergy Construction & Industrial Group of companies
- Be a highly motivated team member of the IT department with the skills and ability to manage to change priorities
- Participate in training as required

**To be successful in this role**:
- A combination of relevant education and experience/training in a Corporate IT Support Position.
- Relevant experience in first-level IT Support and ERP (Pronto preferred, but SAP/JD Edwards/Sage, Oracle etc) systems is a **MUST**.
- A technical, logical thought process
- An ability to meet deadlines, prioritise and delegate
- Highly developed English communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as both an effective team member or individually
