This role is ideal for an experienced Urban Planner who will develop strong client relationships and manage projects to deliver on time and within budget.
The job involves working across local and regional projects, focusing on client management, project delivery, legislation analysis, and preparing and lodging applications.
You should have strong technical skills, excellent communication, self-motivation, and local knowledge.
* Development of strong client relationships
* Project management and team coordination
* Preparation of development applications
* Planning assessment, investigation, and analysis of Queensland legislation, guidelines, and documentation for various project types
* Preparation of tenders, proposals, and submissions
Essential Experience and Attributes:
* Tertiary qualification in town planning or related field
* Minimum 6 years of industry experience
* Local Gold Coast or SEQ planning and development knowledge
* Experience with Development Assessment processes under the Planning Act **** and relevant legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team
* Australian residency
