Toowoomba Grammar School (TGS) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed trainee to undertake an IT Customer Service Traineeship to commence in January 2026.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time IT Customer Service Trainee to join our team. This position will work in a supportive team environment where innovation and ideas will be fostered. We provide the opportunities for success at TGS and this is a role that will enable your growth in IT operations and customer service. You will work collaboratively within the IT team and your previous experience or passion in this area will be an advantage.
As a part of the traineeship program, you will undertake 375 hours of study over 12 months and on completion of your Traineeship, will be awarded a Certificate III in Information Technology. Your commitment to this Traineeship is significant to TGS and will be enhanced by the collective knowledge of the IT Team. You will be provided with ‘on the job’ training, however you will need to complete study on your own time. There will be opportunities for you to bring your newly acquired knowledge to contribute to making innovative changes in your role.
To be successful in this role you will:
- have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including OneNote, Microsoft Teams and MS apps
- have high attention to detail and accuracy
- demonstrate a passion for good customer service and an ability to actively listen
- be organised and able to manage given tasks, be dynamic, and action-orientated, and meet deadlines.

Remuneration:
Wages can be up to $838.00 per week (plus superannuation), depending on your highest year of schooling completed, and the number of years currently out of school. These figures are as per Schedule E of the National Training Wage of the Miscellaneous Award 2020.
