For over 20 years, we have partnered with some of Australia's most recognised retail brands, providing end-to-end project delivery from estimating and pre-construction through to handover and defect management.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Gold Coast team based in Molendinar.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects, build long-term client relationships and work alongside a highly experienced team that prides itself on professionalism, accountability and delivering exceptional outcomes.
About the Role
This is not a desk-only Project Management role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of projects from tender through to handover.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple retail fitout and refurbishment projects from initial enquiry and tender through to completion, handover and defect close-out.
Working closely with clients, estimators, project coordinators, construction managers, subcontractors and suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage projects from tender and pre-construction through to handover and defects liability
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
* Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work
* Work with the estimating team to prepare tenders and project pricing
* Coordinate project schedules and construction programmes
* Drive value engineering opportunities and project efficiencies
* Monitor project budgets, variations and financial performance
* Coordinate approvals, certifications and site requirements
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants throughout project delivery
* Ensure clear communication with clients regarding project status, timelines and changes
* Conduct project reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
* Support successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience within retail fitout and shopfitting
* Experience delivering projects within live retail environments and shopping centres will be highly regarded
* Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong understanding of construction methodology and project delivery
* Experience preparing and managing tenders and project budgets
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documentation
* Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems
