Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for people seeking help regarding family violence and related issues.
* Provide compassionate, informed advice and information to clients.
* Conduct risk assessments and engage with clients to understand their needs.
* Work closely with partner agencies to create coordinated, client‐focused responses.
* Support improved outcomes for children, young people and families.

Qualifications
* Meet the mandatory minimum qualification requirement for specialist family violence roles as specified by the Victorian Government.
* Degree in Social Work or another qualification in family violence or a related discipline that meets AQF Level 7 (Bachelor, Graduate Certificate or Masters).
* Or hold a diploma in a discipline related to family violence and be in the process of working toward a qualification that meets the MMQ.
* Or have at least two years of relevant professional experience and be in the process of working toward a qualification that meets the MMQ.
* Or have been working in a specialist family violence role prior to July 2021.
Additional Requirements
* Current Victorian Driver's License.
