As a Part‐time (22.5 hours per week) Human Resource and Payroll Administrator at MUJI Store Support Service, you will play a key role in supporting accurate payroll processing and HR administration.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
* Accurately maintain timesheet and employee data in HRIS systems (Kronos and ELMO)
* Support payroll activities including onboarding, terminations, pay adjustments and reporting
* Provide first‐level HR and payroll support, managing enquiries and processing basic HR lifecycle and administrative tasks
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with broader HR and payroll projects

Qualifications

* 2+ years of dedicated payroll experience in the Australian market, ideally within a fast‐paced retail environment
* Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, General Retail Industry Award and Single Touch Payroll reporting
* A Diploma or higher qualification in Payroll, HR, Accounting or Business Administration (or equivalent practical experience)
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong math/calculation aptitude for accurate timesheet, tax and superannuation processing
* Experience with ELMO and Kronos (UKG) systems is highly regarded
* High attention to detail, strict process compliance, and a proven ability to handle confidential data with complete discretion
* Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence and a proactive, can‐do attitude when collaborating on group projects
