We are a dedicated member‐based community service organisation committed to providing exceptional support and services to individuals with disabilities. About the RolesHip Hop/Creative Dance Teacher
* Deliver energetic and engaging hip hop classes that build confidence, creativity, rhythm, and social connection.
* Sessions are adapted to suit participants' goals, abilities, and support needs.
Zumba Instructor
* Run fun, high‐energy Zumba‐based fitness sessions that are accessible to a wide range of abilities and fitness levels.
* Promote movement, confidence, and wellbeing through dance fitness.
Creative Dance Teacher
* Teach dance classes in your area of expertise — whether jazz, cultural dance, freestyle, or other styles.
* Create inclusive, enjoyable sessions that encourage self‐expression, creativity, movement skills, and social connection.
Personal Fitness Trainer
* Design and deliver personalised fitness programs in both group and one‐on‐one settings.
* Support participants to work toward their health, fitness, recreation, and wellbeing goals in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Sessions are adapted to suit participants' goals, abilities, and support needs.
* Deliver inclusive and engaging dance, Zumba, and fitness sessions for people with disability.
* Facilitate both group classes and individual sessions (depending on the program).
* Plan, adapt, and modify routines, exercises, and activities to suit a wide range of abilities, goals, interests, and support needs.
* Create a safe, positive, and supportive environment that encourages participation, confidence, creativity, and enjoyment.
* Support participants to build movement skills, fitness, independence, and social connection.
* Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and support staff.
* Complete required documentation, including attendance, progress notes, and incident reports.
* Attend RSAC training, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Role‐Specific Requirements
* Hip Hop – Experience teaching hip hop dance or related dance styles.
* Zumba – Current Zumba Instructor certification or relevant fitness/dance qualification.
* Zumba – Experience teaching Zumba or group fitness classes.
* Personal Fitness – Certificate III and/or IV in Fitness (or equivalent fitness qualification).
* Personal Fitness – Working towards the qualification.
Essential Requirements (Applicable to All Roles)
* Experience working with people with disability.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive, patient, and supportive attitude.
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Willingness to complete required online training modules, including:
o NDIS Worker Orientation Module – "Quality, Safety and You".
o Infection Prevention and Control Online Module.
* Ability to legally work in Australia.
* Ability to provide 100 points of identification.
Employment Type
* Casual/Contractor employment.
* Flexible hours may be available depending on program needs.
