About Kids' Early Learning
Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 24 childcare and preschool centres, 8 out-of-school care services and over 70 family daycare educators. Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff, operating throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 1,700 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for dedicated and experienced OSHC Child Care Assistants to join our vibrant team across multiple locations.
- 5 x Permanent, part-time positions:
- Blackett OSHC – 30 hours per week
- Willmot OSHC – 30 hours per week
- Marayong South OSHC – 24.5 hours per week
- Marsden Park OSHC – 20 hours per week
- Nirimba Fields OSHC – 20 hours per week
In this fulfilling role, you will work split shifts (AM and PM), helping to create a secure, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in the Early Childhood Field
- Certificate III in Children’s Services
- Completion of Child Protection Course – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
- Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
- Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work
Desirable
- Current class C driver’s licence
- Computer literate
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
Remuneration and Benefits
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,197.30 per week, pro‑rata

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
