About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a reliable, motivated and committed person to work alongside a great team in our Premium Potting Mix area at our Dandenong South Office in Victoria. This Monday to Friday position plays a vital role in the day-to-day manufacture of our Horticultural and Agricultural products.
Duties include
* Ensuring Bio Gro quality of product and quality of service meets and exceeds the required standard.
* Providing support in all aspects of Quality Assurance including laboratory testing and calibration of laboratory equipment.
* Providing initiative toward the usability and performance of the overall quality function while ensuring systems within the Quality Assurance department are continuously reviewed for their reliability, and where practicable assist to improve these processes.
* Conducting internal audits, updating and maintaining documentation, and being responsible for managing external accreditations.
* Liaising with stakeholders at all levels and across all departments of the business to ensure best possible outcomes for customers.
* Monitoring Growing Media inputs and raising quality concerns with suppliers.
* Investigating complaints and conducting Corrective Action investigations.
* Executing trials and providing technical support to customers where required.
* Formulation management.

Previous work experience in a similar QA or laboratory role, and/or experience in the Horticulture industry is desirable.
