As a Clinical Supervisor in the Programs Department at Acacia Prison, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
As a Clinical Supervisor in the Programs team, you'll make a positive impact by:
Providing leadership and clinical guidance to Psychologists, Social Workers, and Program Facilitators
Conducting clinical supervision, mentoring, and coaching to ensure program quality and integrity
Supporting program facilitators with feedback, training, and professional development
Ensuring responsive and inclusive program delivery that supports diverse prisoner needs
Contributing to program development, research, and continuous improvement initiatives
Promoting a culture of respect, safety, and wellbeing across the team
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
A recognised degree in Social Work (AASW accredited) or full registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA), with minimum 2 years' experience
Experience in group facilitation with complex behavioural or mental health needs
Strong leadership skills and experience providing clinical supervision (highly regarded)
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for offender rehabilitation
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team within a correctional or institutional setting
