Health & Safety Coordinator – High Rise Residential Project
Project: $150M High Rise Residential Development
Reporting to: Safety Manager
An established national construction business is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join a landmark $150M high rise residential project based in Zetland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major build alongside an experienced site leadership team and contribute to a strong safety-first culture from early delivery through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining site safety systems and procedures
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all stages of construction
* Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies, and project requirements
* Coordinate site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training initiatives
* Monitor subcontractor compliance and safe work practices on site
* Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and records
* Promote a positive safety culture and provide guidance to site personnel and subcontractors
* Assist with return-to-work and injury management processes where required
About You
* Previous experience in a Health & Safety Coordinator or Advisor position within construction
* Exposure to high rise residential or large-scale commercial projects preferred
* Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsConfident working in a fast-paced site environment
* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
