About the Role
Calvary Adelaide Hospital is the largest private hospital in South Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary Allied Health team that specialises in both acute care and rehabilitation services. The successful applicant will be appointed to a full‐time ongoing position (AHP1 level) and will work across both the acute and rehabilitation services, with shifts rostered across a seven‐day service, commencing initially on weekdays.
Key Responsibilities
* Team‐oriented, interdisciplinary Allied Health care
* Maintain a high standard of clinical and professional practice
* Apply high‐level critical thinking
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with a wide variety of conditions
* Create, monitor and progress individual treatment plans
* Develop patient‐focused goals
* Plan discharge to ensure safe and timely discharge of patients
* Prescribe and arrange appropriate equipment
What You Bring
* Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy, entitling registration with AHPRA
* Minimum 2 years relevant physiotherapy working experience
* Enthusiasm to support the physiotherapy team in delivering high‐quality services
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a desire to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Ability to engage and work collaboratively with internal and external agencies
* Computer literate with strong organisational, prioritisation and time‐management skills
* Flexibility to work across acute, rehabilitation, and ambulatory day‐patient services
* Willingness to undertake pool rescue training and participate in hydrotherapy sessions
* Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation
