Karabar High School is a partially Selective High school located on Ngambri and Ngunnawal lands, in the border region of NSW and the ACT.
The school has a current enrolment of 723 students in years 7-12, including *****% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 3.73% English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D).
The successful applicant will be required to teach PD/Health/PE and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation/Physical Activity and Sports Studies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Approval to teach PD/Health/PE and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation/Physical Activity and Sports Studies
* Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community
* Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students
