About the Role
Team Leader position in the Theatre Sterilising Unit (TSU) at Lyell McEwin Hospital. Provide operational leadership to the team on daily shifts, using leadership and sterilisation experience and knowledge to impact services.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and provide direction to sterilisation attendants to ensure efficient operation of TSU
* Coordinate daily activities and manage workflow to meet service demand
* Mentor and develop team members through teaching and guidance
* Collaborate with others to ensure TSU runs effectively
Eligibility / Qualifications
* Certificate IV in sterilisation (AQF) or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Commitment to delivering high‐quality service
About You
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to problem solve, resolve conflicts, negotiate, engage in difficult conversations, build and maintain relationships. Able to manage multiple, diverse, competing priorities and demonstrated resilience in a stressful environment.
