About The Role
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill a temporary part‑time position within Barwon Health’s Pharmacy Department, based at University Hospital Geelong. You may be required to work across all three Barwon Health campuses.
Responsibilities
- Support Outpatients and Ward Pharmacists in delivering high‑quality pharmacy services to patients.
- Assist in sterile and oncology preparation, HITH and outpatient services.
- Participate in pharmaceutical care activities, medication safety and quality use of medicines initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
- Certification or completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible part‑time hours within the stipulated fortnightly hours.
