Operational Excellence Expert, Lean Leader
In this key role, you will be responsible for promoting and leading the successful implementation of our Business System (BS) at a global site. You will serve as an expert in Lean business systems, driving sustained operational improvements and Kaizen results that impact Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your primary goal will be to facilitate DBS activities and mentor associates and Kaizen teams.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess a strong understanding of Lean tools from Reliability, Operations, Supply Chain, and Materials. Your ability to develop and continuously improve processes within Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics will be essential to advancing BS capabilities. Additionally, you will be expected to facilitate Kaizens, support the development of Certified Practitioners, and improve DBS training and facilitation by pursuing certification in DBS tools.
Key Requirements:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
* Multiple years of Operations or Lean experience.
* Hands-on experience implementing improvements in a continuous improvement environment (DBS, Lean SixSigma, TPS, etc.), line management or consulting role.
Preferred Experience:
* Knowledge of key DBS Lean Tools: Operations, Danaher Reliability System, Supply Chain, and the Danaher Materials System/Kanban or industry equivalents.
* Experience managing people and/or projects.

Job Summary:
* Serve as Lean DBS expert to a global site; drive sustained operational improvements and Kaizen results that impact KPIs through facilitation of DBS activities and mentorship of associates and Kaizen teams.
* Drive results across the dimensions of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost by leveraging a solid understanding of the DBS Fundamentals combined with Lean tools from Reliability, Operations, Supply Chain, and Materials.
* Develop and continuously improve processes within Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics at the site and supporting functions. Continuously advance BS capabilities by leveraging the DBS Playbooks and corresponding action plans.
* Facilitate Kaizens as defined in a prioritized Kaizen Funnel and support the development of Certified Practitioners to close KPI gaps with appropriate Visual & Daily Management. Improve DBS training and facilitation by pursuing certification in DBS tools for yourself and others.
* Facilitate and lead PSP (Problem Solving Process) teams in everyday Problem Solving. Install and facilitate Visual & Daily Management at Gemba across the site.
