? About the role

Salary:
$77,000 p.a. plus superannuation
You'll be working closely with managers and assisting them with....
Providing practical financial and tax advice on business structures, planning, and operations
Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
Working with banks and brokers to help clients set up and manage their funds
Implementing and maintaining accounting systems i.e. XERO (and helping clients get the most out of them)
Supporting clients with budgeting and internal control processes
Preparing financial statements and reports for directors, management, and regulators
Advising on complex matters like business purchases and sales, mergers, capital finance, insolvency, and taxation
Reviewing operating costs and performance across businesses
Providing assurance that financial information is accurate and compliant
? To be successful in the role you'll need
Minimum 2 years of Australian tax experience in public practice in a similar position
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Accounting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A collaborative, team-first attitude
A solid track record of good time management and attention to detail
Coachability and a growth mindset
The ability to juggle multiple priorities calmly and confidently under pressure
Friendly disposition and positive working style
