Elite Supplements is a leading health and nutrition retailer with a growing international footprint, operating over 140 stores across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, and Dubai.
As part of an ongoing finance transformation, the business is restructuring its finance function to better support scale, efficiency, and control.
The Opportunity
This role is focused on stabilising and clearing a backlog of reconciliations while bringing consistency and structure to key transactional processes.
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of core reconciliation activities across multiple entities. The immediate priority is delivery — ensuring reconciliations are accurate, up to date, and well controlled.
Alongside this, you will support the refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Core Reconciliation Delivery (Primary Focus)
* Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across all entities in Xero
* Manage credit card reconciliations, including:
o Corporate AMEX and Visa accounts
o Director cards, including personal vs business expense allocation
* Reconcile travel & accommodation (T&A) expenses
* Conduct motor vehicle and fuel audits
* Process and reconcile employee expense reimbursements
* Work through historical backlog and bring accounts to a current, accurate state
Process Consistency & Documentation
* Follow and help standardise reconciliation processes across entities
* Assist in refining and documenting SOPs for key processes
* Ensure consistent coding, treatment, and documentation of transactions
* Highlight recurring issues or inefficiencies to the finance team
Controls & Accuracy
* Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all reconciliations
* Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Escalate complex or systemic issues where required
* Maintain clear audit trails and supporting documentation
About You
* 2–5 years' experience in a transactional or financial accounting role
* Strong hands-on experience with Xero, including rule creation and automation
* Proven experience working across multi-entity environments
* High attention to detail with strong reconciliation capability
