Remuneration: $143,851.1 - $154,025.92 per annum, pro rata

Hours Per Week: up to 38

About The Role

Providing a high level of evidence-based nursing care within the specialty area of mental health to improve access of care and addressing gaps in existing health care services through the provision of a flexible and innovative model of care. The position will be based within the acute community mental health team.

Providing clinical and professional leadership as an expert in the clinical field and undertaking comprehensive health assessments and collaborate and consult with other members of the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate care. This integrated approach will support best practice and maximise patient care outcomes.

The Transitional Nurse Practitioner is appointed for a provisional period of up to three (3) years until the applicant meets the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for nurse practitioner endorsement.
