**Job Title:** Land Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Land Manager to join our team. As a key member of our development strategy, you will be responsible for managing all land acquisition and applications.
Your primary focus will be on identifying, researching, and appraising new sites, negotiating prices and terms directly with vendors and agents.
You will also assess project feasibility by liaising with internal teams on benchmarking, costing, and terms.
Your clear communication style in conveying planning and site information to each team is crucial to ensure high-quality work within set deadlines.
This includes regularly reviewing and updating site valuations and budgets to reflect current proposals and values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* SIGNIFICANT LAND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE NEW HOMES DEVELOPMENT FIELD
* A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF LAND PURCHASE PROCESSES AND RELEVANT LEGISLATIONS
* KNOWLEDGE OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PROCESSES
* CONFIDENCE IN CHAIRING LAND MEETINGS AND ENGAGING WITH CONSULTANTS
* HIGH COMMERCIAL ACUMEN AND AWARENESS
* ABILITY TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND INTERACT EFFECTIVELY WITH STAKEHOLDERS
* STRONG ORGANISATIONAL, PLANNING, AND WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE
* CONFIDENCE IN LEADING PRESENTATIONS AND GROUP MEETINGS
* VISION, COMMITMENT, AND ENTHUSIASM FOR CHANGE
* An influential character with strong listening and negotiation skills
* Resilience and perseverance during challenging negotiations
* Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Real Estate, Town Planning, Urban Planning, etc.
