Job Title: Storeperson
Your role will involve receiving and distributing goods, as well as providing supply services to a hospital. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching orders to internal customers throughout the Eastern Region of Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acceptance and checking of goods received at the Distribution Centre
* Assist with the unloading of goods when required using appropriate materials handling aids/equipment
* Check incoming goods against the couriers/carriers running sheet or consignment notes for details, quantity, and condition of parcels
* Ensure deliveries are correct relating to quantity, quality, and specification
* Accurately receipting orders in the computerised supply system and processing/filing paperwork/documentation
* Segregate direct supply items from inventory items for priority dispatch to the SJG Hospital Ballarat
* Deliver goods received to the inventory locator within the Distribution Centre, unpacking, checking for accuracy before placing into the nominated location
* Rotation of stock to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) and/or nearest expiry date
Requirements:
* Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License
* Valid vehicle Drivers License
* Basic computer skills
* Physical capability to perform all functions required by this position
