Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
Provide insights on financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and consistency.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualise financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics using Power BI.
Automate recurring financial reports and streamline month-end close processes through Power BI integrations.
Analyse complex financial datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA / CPA Qualified
Advanced Power BI capability
Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience working with large ERP's is a must.
Microsoft Business Central is highly regarded
Advanced Excel skills.
Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
