About the Opportunity TalentLink are partnering with a leading Not-for-Profit Organisation who deliver a range of specialist programs for children, young people and families. Due to continued organisational growth, our client is seeking an experienced and proactive People & Culture Advisor to join their collaborative HR team based on the Sunshine Coast. Reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager, this role will see you provide timely and practical HR support across a broad range of generalist functions including employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, workforce planning and policy development. This is a hands-on and highly influential role suited to a confident HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, driving best practice and contributing to a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice, coaching and support to managers across employee performance and development matters
* Support leaders with employee relations, workforce planning and conflict resolution matters
* Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, legislation, employment contracts and organisational policies
* Assist managers with roster implementation and staff consultation processes
* Contribute to People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Develop and deliver training for managers and employees
* Manage ER/IR matters through effective investigation, research and resolution strategies
* Assist with policy, procedure and process development and review
* Support recruitment and selection activities as required
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience within a generalist HR or People & Culture Advisor role
* Strong knowledge of ER/IR processes, employment legislation and Award interpretation
* Confidence providing coaching and support to managers across complex people matters
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills
* A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
* Experience within the Not-for-Profit, community services, healthcare or related sectors will be highly regarded
