MR Driver ) Ballina, Australia
Salary: AUD38 - AUD39 per hour
The Role
Our client, based in Ballina, is currently seeking an experienced MR Driver to join their team for multi-drop LPG gas cylinder deliveries. Working closely with the site manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products to both domestic and commercial customers across Northern NSW.
Monday – Friday, working 8 to 10 hour days.
7AM starts.
$***** + Overtime + Superannuation
Key Responsibilities
Safely load and unload LPG cylinder trucks at the terminal and delivery sites
Complete scheduled daily delivery runs accurately and on time
Carry out regular vehicle checks and complete required documentation
Report any site installation defects or hazards in line with company procedures
Engage in safety initiatives including toolbox talks, audits, and emergency drills
Perform repetitive manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
Work independently with a professional and positive attitude
Skills & Experience
Must have a Manual MR License or higher.
Dangerous Goods licence or experience (highly regarded)
Ability to provide driving history
We do our own, but a recent police check can fast track your application
Sound knowledge of the Northern NSW region
Outstanding customer service experience
Safety focused with an understanding of chain of responsibility
Must be physically fit
