Our Windows and Doors division located in Adelaide has an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and focused. This role is well suited to junior applicants or those looking to start or grow their career in administration.
The Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of day‐to‐day operations. You'll also be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and professional presence at our front desk. Reporting to the Office Manager, you'll provide administrative and reception support across the division.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence
* Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
* Direct incoming calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments
* Develop knowledge of our products, processes and systems (training provided)
* Maintain and organise company records, documents, and filing systems
* Assist with data entry, invoicing, and basic administrative tasks
* Provide assistance and product information to customers in the showroom
* Complete detailed take‐offs from production and order documentation, accurately extracting quantities, materials, and specifications
About You
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Be
* Eager to learn and develop a career in administration
* Detail‐oriented, with good organisation skills
* A strong communicator, both face‐to‐face and over the phone
* Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
* Previous administration or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
* School leavers or junior applicants with a current driver's licence are encouraged to apply
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Willingness to learn new systems
