What you'll do:

Operational & Maintenance Support

* Provide support and backup to the Maintenance & Asset Care Supervisor as required.
* Understand basic machine operating principles and maintenance requirements across the manufacturing process.
* Drive compliance to the asset care and preventative maintenance schedule — ensuring all work orders are completed on time, in full, and to the required quality, safety and environmental standards.
* Support the management and ordering of inventory for spare parts and consumables.
* Prioritise maintenance requests in line with business needs and expectations.
* Coordinate, assist and learn from OEMs, trades and contractors as required.
* Coach production workers in the correct use of machinery and equipment to reduce breakdown risk and injury.

Administration & CMMS

* Perform maintenance and asset care records reviews and all associated CMMS transactions.
* Support departmental planning, condition-based monitoring, spares strategy and financial procedures in line with Engineering and Maintenance/Asset Care & Reliability strategies.
* Fulfill both operational and high-level administrative responsibilities as required.

Safety, Quality & Compliance (SHEQ)

* Actively support SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) standards across all manufacturing functions.
* Ensure maintenance and asset care tasks are planned and executed in accordance with Lyka's quality standards, including all HACCP requirements.
* Support the team in adhering to Quality and Food Safety procedures.
* Ensure compliance with Lyka's safety policies, procedures, and all statutory and legal requirements.
* Demonstrate behaviour that actively supports a safety-first culture at all times.

People, Culture & Continuous Improvement

* Actively support a cohesive, flexible and goal-focused culture across M&SC and the wider Lyka Pack.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times across the site.
* Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
* Experience with modernised CMMS systems and modern maintenance principles (highly regarded).
* Experience managing a preventative maintenance program (highly regarded).
* Hands‐on experience in machine disassembly, fault diagnosis and rebuild (highly regarded).
* Experience with automated machines in a manufacturing environment (highly regarded).
* Experience managing spare parts strategies and inventory.
* Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, HACCP and GMP environments (advantageous).
* Excellent operational IT skills.
