Job Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails to facilitate lead generation and qualification. You will be responsible for:
* Generating new leads and actioning warm leads from the Marketing team and other channels.
* Sourcing opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails.
* Identifying and researching prospects, establishing relationships, and driving leads through the sales pipeline.
* Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
* Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Manager.
* Ensuring all required indicators are tracked in Salesforce for accurate reporting.
* Staying up-to-date with new products and pricing models.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience as a Sales Development Rep or similar.
* Experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.
* The ability to cultivate, build, and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
* Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills.
* A self-motivated attitude with high energy.
* Salesforce experience is favourable, though full training is provided.
* Domain knowledge in HR & Payroll and/or the technology space is desired but not essential.
