An experienced Enterprise and Technical Architect is required to join a specialist delivery team supporting a large scale supply chain and ERP uplift. You will take ownership of end to end architecture across SAP S/4HANA solutions. This includes defining enterprise and technical architecture, aligning solutions to business needs, and producing key design artefacts. You will work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, infrastructure, and security to deliver scalable, secure, and fit for purpose solutions across warehousing, inventory, and distribution functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end to end architecture design across SAP S/4HANA solutions
* Produce Solution Architecture Design and Solution Implementation Design documentation
* Define integration patterns across SAP including RFC, IDoc, OData, REST and SOAP
* Design secure identity and access architecture using SSO, SAML and OAuth
* Specify network and connectivity requirements including ports, protocols, and firewall rules
* Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, governance, and clean core principles
* Define performance, scalability, monitoring, and availability requirements
* Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and delivery teams to implement architecture
* Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for business stakeholders
* Support knowledge transfer and uplift internal capability
Highly desirable criteria
* Strong SAP S/4HANA architecture experience within operational supply chain environments
* Experience across SAP BTP, CPI, and cloud integration patterns
* Proven experience designing integration architecture across APIs and SAP interfaces
* Deep understanding of SAP clean core principles and WRICEF design
* Experience across cloud environments such as HEC or RISE
* Background in large scale ERP or supply chain transformation programs
* Experience within healthcare or highly regulated environments
* Exposure to pharmacy or clinical supply chain systems
* TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification
Skills and experience
* 10 plus years experience across enterprise and technical architecture
* Strong capability across applications, data, infrastructure, security, and integration domains
* Proven experience delivering architecture artefacts aligned to enterprise standards
* Experience designing network architecture including DMZ, routing, and secure connectivity
* Strong understanding of operational supply chain processes
* Ability to engage and influence both technical and non technical stakeholders
* Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
* Exposure to a large scale SAP S/4HANA environment
* Collaborative and high performing delivery team
