National Sales Manager Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic National Sales Manager to lead and execute the sales strategy across Australia.
This key leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing high-value relationships with national retailers and distributors.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve the business objectives of this well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead national sales strategy and execution across all Australian states and territories.
* Drive revenue growth through key national retail partnerships (Endeavour Drinks Group, Coles Liquor).
* Manage distributor relationships and implement annual sales and trade marketing programs.
* Oversee direct wholesale account management.
* Develop sales and expense budgets in collaboration with the Sales Director and CFO.
* Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and report to senior leadership with actionable insights.
* Conduct regular business reviews with customers to drive sales and address performance issues.
* Manage and develop a small team of Brand Ambassadors in QLD, NSW and VIC.
* Contribute to product launches, marketing campaigns and new product development.
* Represent the brand at tastings, wine dinners and industry events.
* Advise on innovation and commercial opportunities to support business growth.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within the wine, beverages or FMCG sector.
* Strong relationships with major national retailers and distributors.
* Excellent commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to sales performance.
* Ability to influence, lead and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and delivering on growth targets.
* Passion for wine and a willingness to represent the brand at key industry events.
* A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across departments and bring people together.
