About Us
Mareeba Hospital services a local population of approximately 10,500 people, providing a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. The facility has an overnight capacity of 52 beds, including 12 maternity beds, and supports clinical and diagnostic services such as allied health, medical imaging, pharmacy, and pathology. The Mareeba region features local attractions such as mountain bike riding, wineries, and coffee plantations and is a short drive away from other scenic towns in the Atherton Tablelands region.
About Your Opportunity
In this position you will:
* Ensure work is carried out efficiently and effectively in compliance with relevant standards to guarantee quality conformance and efficient use of resources.
* Practice high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to create and foster team spirit within a multidisciplinary workplace.
* Assist in the development of strategies and implementation work practices to ensure best business practice allocation of resources.
* Work in close association with the Operational Services Manager and liaise with other department heads.
* Participate in educational and in-service programs to build and update knowledge.
