Our Integrated Family Services (IFS) Team aims to strengthen families by providing early intervention, practical support and evidence informed support through our Practitioner Coaching Framework (PCF) that enhances child safety, improves family functioning and wellbeing, builds parenting capacity and empowers families to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for the next 12 months to join our team of high performing practitioners.
Job Description
What are the specifics of the role?
As a skilled and experienced leader, you'll play an integral part in our IFS leadership group, reporting to the Manager Family & Community Services.
You will lead a team of experienced practitioners and provide daily support and guidance through complex and high risk assessments, ensuring a consumer centric approach, that complies with our policies and procedures.
You will have at least 2 years' experience in a supervisor role in the child and family services field, and be committed to capability development and fostering an inclusive, high performing workplace culture.
Bringing your reflective supervision skills and high emotional intelligence you will be passionate about continual improvement and individualised support of your team members. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be comfortable making decisions under pressure.
4 years' of parenting or family support services experience is essential; positive and strengths-based intervention support providing evidence-based interventions.
The work days will be Tuesday to Friday and will include a combination of office, working from home and outreach as required.
The part time salary will range from $95,300 to $99,281 per annum.
As Windermere is a not-for-profit organisation, employees are able to claim everyday living expenses up to $15,900 against their annual Pre-Tax Salary.
The base fortnightly take-home salary without salary packaging is $2,845 however, if you maximise salary packaging this will be $3,034 (this is the equivalent comparative salary in the job market to $102,500pa)

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria
Tertiaryqualification is psychology, social work or similar disciplines, with a preferencefor Bachelor degree or higher
Minimum 2 years' experience managing, supervising and leading staff
Minimum 4 years' experience in parenting or family support services, positive and strengths-based intervention support providing evidence-based interventions
Excellent written,verbaland collaborativecommunication skills.
Problem Solving and Crisis Management Skills
Experience in coaching practices is desirable.
Proven ability to improve andmaintainmorale, culture and workplace relationships
Proven ability to implement and evaluate systems and processes that support service improvements
Proven ability to manage staff, programs and projects
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a busy and dynamic program and the ability to work specific days and flexible
Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks - including, Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical and Working with Children's check
