Join You Therapy Services – where flexibility, support, and great clinical work coexist
We're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who wants more than just a caseload.
If you're after meaningful assessment-based work, genuine flexibility, strong clinical support, and the freedom to focus on what you do best, this role has been intentionally built with that in mind.
About Us
At You Therapy Services, home modifications and assistive technology sit right at the centre of what we do. We're a small, community‐based OT team focused on designing practical, life‐changing environments that genuinely improve independence, safety, and participation.
We work primarily across the NDIS, with additional aged care work (Support at Home packages), supporting people with physical, neurological, and intellectual disabilities.
Our work is highly assessment‐driven and solution‐focused, with a strong emphasis on:
* Home modifications (our core passion area), including both minor and complex modifications
* Assistive technology prescription, ranging from simple to highly complex solutions
* Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
* Home & Living assessments (SIL, SDA, ILO)
* Aged care assessments and supports
We really enjoy the problem‐solving side of home mods and assistive technology, working closely (and often quite creatively) with clients, families, builders, suppliers, and support teams to turn assessment outcomes into real‐world change that actually makes daily life easier.
Why OTs Choose to Stay With Us
Flexible work that actually works in real life
This business was started by an OT (and parent), so flexibility isn't an add‐on, it's built into how we operate.
We trust our clinicians to manage their time and structure their work in a way that fits their life.
That means:
* Flexibility to choose your days and hours
* Hybrid work (work from the office or home)
* Autonomy over your diary
* Space to balance work, family, and life without guilt
We genuinely believe people do their best work when their job fits around their life, not the other way around.
A team that actually has your back
You won't be left trying to figure complex work out on your own.
We're a small team of experienced clinicians who genuinely collaborate day to day, with regular personalised clinical supervision from our Clinical Lead, informal support from the team as needed, and peer review of complex reports to ensure quality and consistency.
We regularly:
* Work through complex cases together
* Share clinical reasoning and ideas
* Support each other with report writing and decision‐making
* Celebrate the wins, even the small ones
Whether you're developing your skills in complex home modifications, assistive technology prescription, or broader assessment practice, you'll be supported in a way that builds real confidence over time.
Work within your scope – and actually enjoy it
We're intentional about the referrals we accept. We don't claim to be a jack of all trades but instead stay within our scope so we can do our work exceptionally well.
That means:
* You won't be pushed into work that doesn't fit clinically
* You can stay within your strengths while building new ones
* You're not expected to be everything to everyone
We try to shape caseloads, so people feel capable and confident in their work, not overwhelmed or stretched into areas that don't suit them.
Interesting, assessment‐based work (no monotony)
If you like thinking, problem‐solving, and practical outcomes, you'll enjoy this role.
You'll be involved in:
* Complex clinical reasoning and problem‐solving
* Assessment‐driven practice
* Assistive technology and home modification design
* Report writing that actually informs change
* Working closely with participants, families, builders, suppliers, and support teams
No two days look the same, and your recommendations genuinely translate into safer, more independent living.
What We Offer
* Flexible work arrangements tailored to real life
* A small, supportive, senior‐led clinical team
* Structured supervision and peer review
* Admin support
* Car allowance for use of your own vehicle
* Opportunities for professional growth
* A growing, values‐driven NDIS registered provider
* We also make time for the small things – coffees, office treats, and the occasional team meal to catch up outside of work chats
What We're Looking For
* Occupational Therapist with minimum 2+ years experience
* NDIS experience preferred but not essential
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Confidence working with participants, families, and stakeholders
* Interest in assistive technology and/or home modifications (highly valued)
* Ability to work independently while engaging in a collaborative team
* Commitment to learning and clinical growth
The Bottom Line
We built this service around what OTs consistently tell us they want:
* flexibility that is real
* support that is available
* work that is interesting and meaningful
* and a caseload that makes sense
If you're looking for a role where you can do good clinical work, feel supported, and not burn out or get boxed in, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
If this sounds like a good fit, I'd love to hear from you:
