RSM Australia is seeking a motivated and detail‐focused Accountant to join our Manjimup office. This role offers client exposure, hands‐on experience, and clear career pathways within a supportive regional team.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements and supporting work papers.
* Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
* Assist with BAS, IAS, and other tax compliance obligations.
* Provide tax advice across areas including GST, CGT, FBT, and income tax.
* Contribute to general business advisory work and client engagement.
* Work closely with Partners and support junior team members.
* Apply understanding of the business environment and client industries to deliver practical, client‐focused solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
* A degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting major, CA or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards one.
* Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* A proactive, client‐focused approach.
