Go Electric is a landmark, place‐based electrification demonstration project designed to accelerate Australia's transition to efficient, all‐electric homes. The project will support the partial‐to‐full electrification of up to 1,000 households in Canberra's southern suburbs, while also delivering Australia's largest coordinated Vehicle‐to‐Grid (V2G) deployment to date, and a new, scalable digital service model for residential electrification.
The project is led by Electric Future, in partnership with Electrify Canberra, Rewiring Australia, enX Consulting, and the ACT Government, with Government Funding. Together, the consortium brings commercial delivery capability, deep community trust, and national policy and technical expertise.
At its core, Go Electric is about making electrification simpler, fairer and scalable, by combining:
* innovative digital platforms for quoting, compliance and fulfilment, and
* rigorous knowledge sharing to inform future policy and programs.
The Go Electric program spans a three‐year delivery period and includes six tightly interdependent workstreams:
* Program management and governance
* Digital platform and installer marketplace development
* Community engagement and participant recruitment
* Household electrification delivery
* V2G deployment and evaluation
* Knowledge sharing and research
Delivery is overseen through a multi‐layered governance structure, including a Project Steering Group with representation from Electric Future, Electrify Canberra, Rewiring Australia and the ACT Government, and formal reporting to ARENA.
THE ROLE
The Program Integration Manager is a critical coordination role at the centre of Go Electric, working across community delivery, technology development, research and government partnerships to help the program operate as a coherent, high‐performing whole.
Rather than leading a single workstream, this role works across the program to improve alignment, manage interdependencies, support reporting and stakeholder engagement, and help resolve issues that cut across delivery areas. It carries significant responsibility for integration, communication and momentum across the program, but it is not the accountable lead for delivery across all workstreams.
What you'll focus on:
* Work closely with community engagement, product, delivery and knowledge‐sharing leads to keep activities aligned and dependencies visible.
* Help teams understand each other's constraints and opportunities, enabling better collective decisions.
* Support constructive conversations where trade‐offs or tensions arise, keeping the focus on outcomes.
* Creative problem‐solving in a live program
* Help the program navigate real‐world complexity, ambiguity and change as delivery scales.
* Identify issues that span multiple workstreams and help coordinate practical, workable responses.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing insights and feeding learnings back into delivery.
Government and funder engagement
* Act as the primary operational interface with ARENA and the ACT Government, supporting meetings, briefings and follow‐ups.
* Coordinate clear, accurate milestones reporting and program updates that reflect delivery realities while meeting funding and governance requirements.
* Support program budget tracking, financial administration and reporting in coordination with internal leads.
* Support transparent issue escalation and resolution, building trust with external stakeholders.
Program rhythm and momentum
* Help maintain momentum by ensuring the right conversations happen at the right time.
* Support the flow of information needed for timely, well‐informed decisions.
* Enable the Project Manager and Steering Group to focus on what matters most for progress and impact.
* Manage and support Project Steering Group meetings, including coordinating agendas and papers, capturing decisions, and tracking actions through to follow‐up.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit someone who enjoys complex coordination, clear communication and purpose‐driven work.
We're looking for someone who has:
* Experience in project, program or operations coordination (or similar roles).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for stakeholder and government‐facing contexts.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confidence tracking issues, actions and risks across multiple stakeholders.
* Experience or interest supporting budget tracking, financial administration and milestone reporting in a project or program environment.
* A collaborative, creative and calm approach to working across diverse teams and disciplines.
You'll love this role if you:
* Care deeply about climate, energy and social equity outcomes.
* Like being the person who "connects the dots" and keeps things moving.
* Are a self‐starter who likes to show initiative and work independently
* Are comfortable working with government, community organisations and technical teams.
* Are excited by a role with broad exposure to policy, funding and delivery in a complex national program.
